Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a dedicated Ultrasound Technologist to perform abdominal, obstetrical, gynecological, and select vascular exams within a busy radiology service. You will collaborate with physicians and staff, document findings in PACS, and provide preliminary interpretations under supervision, while maintaining patient comfort and safety throughout procedures.

Qualifications

• Vocational or Technical training in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• RDMS registration in Abdominal and/or OB/GYN.
• 0-1 years related work experience.
• Licensed Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer.
• 30 days to provide BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Interviews patients and explains procedures.
• Records images and results in PACS; prints as needed.
• Performs routine clerical duties and schedules patients.
• Keeps current with new techniques and equipment.
• Assists in other divisions during procedures and in various areas.
