Job summary

Temple-Health is seeking an ultrasound professional to perform various ultrasound procedures under radiologist-directed protocols. You will prepare and maintain ultrasound equipment and ensure proper patient readiness.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of a 2-year AMA-approved ultrasound program, with 2 years of ultrasound experience preferred. A Registered Diag Medical Sonographer license is required, Basic Life Support is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Graduate of a 2-year AMA-approved ultrasound program required.
• 2 years experience in Ultrasound preferred.
• Reg Diag Medical Sonographer required.
• Basic Life Support preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs and/or assists with various types of ultrasound procedures, following protocols established by radiologists.
• Prepares and maintains equipment, checks for proper patient preparation, and operates ultrasound equipment.
