Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Non-degree program graduate of a 2-year AMA-approved ultrasound program required.
• Basic Life Support required; Registered Diag Medical Sonographer required.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound procedures according to established protocol to obtain diagnostic information.
• Provide information to patients about the purpose of the ultrasound procedure and respond to questions and concerns.
• Maintain continued competence through lifelong learning, continuing education, and credentialing.
