Job summary

ExecuSource is assisting on a search for a Sonographer for a hospital client in Cookeville, TN. You would work directly with patients and physicians, performing a variety of specialized sonographic procedures.

Expect 7:30am-5:00pm with 4 x 9-hour shifts per week. The role requires an Associate degree, ARDMS certification within 6 months, and ongoing CE credits to stay in good standing.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; ARDMS certification within 6 months of hire.
• Continuing education credits to maintain ARDMS standing.
• Hands-on scanning experience in OB/GYN, abdomen, vascular, endovaginal, small parts, and ultrasound-guided procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams, prepare exam rooms, and keep the department stocked.
• Provide patient care and safety in line with department standards.
• Use independent judgment and initiative in procedures.
• Handle front-line department tasks: customer service, phone communication, data entry and retrieval in HIS/RIS/PACS, cleaning of exam/work areas, and infection control.
• Meet hospital service standards with patients and colleagues.

Days

Compensation

• $32.00 - $42.00/hr, depending on experience
• Optional sign‑on bonus of $7,500 for candidates with 2+ years of experience, with an 18-month commitment. Requires working one additional shift per payroll period if the hospital deems it necessary.
• Relocation assistance of up to $5,000. If you take the sign‑on bonus, the relocation commitment is covered by the 18-month agreement. If you take relocation only, the commitment is 12 months.

What You'll Do
