ExecuSource, Inc. is assisting on a search for an Echo Sonographer for a hospital client in Cookeville, TN. You would work directly with patients and physicians, performing transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms.

This full-time, day-shift position offers competitive pay with a $7,500 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates and relocation assistance up to $5,000. ARDMS or CCI certification is required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; bachelor's preferred.
• Registered in Echocardiography (ARDMS/CCI).
• Registry-eligible must certify within 6 months of hire.
• Continuing education credits required to stay in good standing.
• Preferred: 1 year of 2D, M‑mode, adult echo and TEE experience.
• Proficient in multi-plane cardiac ultrasound calculations.

Responsibilities

• Perform TTE and TEE echocardiograms.
• Operate ultrasound equipment and prep rooms.
• Provide patient safety and care.

Echo Sonographer, Cardiac Ultrasound | Cookeville, TN

Full-Time · Days · 4 x 9-hour shifts per week

ExecuSource is assisting on a search for an Echo Sonographer for a hospital client in Cookeville, TN. You would work directly with patients and physicians, performing transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms.

Compensation

• $36.00 - $46.00/hr
• Optional sign-on bonus of $7,500 for candidates with 2+ years of experience, with an 18-month commitment. Requires working one additional shift per payroll period if the hospital deems it necessary.
• Relocation assistance of up to $5,000. If you take the sign-on bonus, the relocation commitment is covered by the 18-month agreement. If you take relocation only, the commitment is 12 months.

What you'll do

• Perform transthoracic (TTE) and transesophageal (TEE) echocardiograms
• Operate diagnostic ultrasound equipment, prepare exam rooms, and keep the department stocked
• Provide patient care and safety in line with department standards
• Use independent judgment and initiative, with attention to age-specific criteria, safety, and medical ethics
• Handle front-line department tasks: customer service, phone communication, data entry and retrieval in HIS/RIS/PACS, cleaning of exam and work areas, and infection control
• Meet the hospital's service standards with patients and colleagues

What you'll need

• Associate degree required, bachelor's preferred
• Registered in Echocardiography through ARDMS or CCI. Registry-eligible candidates must earn certification within 6 months of hire.
• Responsibility for earning your own continuing education credits to stay in good standing with ARDMS or CCI
• Preferred: 1 year of experience in complete 2D, M-mode, adult echo, and TEE
• Skill in performing multi-plane cardiac ultrasounds and required calculations, including valve area, valve gradients, pressure, and velocity
