Weston County Health Services is seeking a Radiology Technologist (Ultrasound focus) to join the rural imaging team in Newcastle, WY. You will perform ultrasound imaging and collaborate with physicians to deliver high-quality diagnostic information while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

The role emphasizes teamwork, ongoing education, and adherence to radiation safety protocols in a supportive, community-focused setting.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
• Current ARRT certification and registration.
• Wyoming state licensure or eligibility prior to employment.
• Proven experience in diagnostic imaging procedures with various imaging equipment.
• Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures (X-ray, CT, MRI) following protocols and safety standards.
• Position patients to ensure comfort and safety during imaging.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment and report malfunctions.
• Collaborate with physicians to interpret imaging results and provide accurate data.
• Maintain detailed patient records and protect patient confidentiality.
