Weston County Health Services is seeking a Radiology Technologist (FT) to lead X-ray and CT imaging in our rural imaging team. The role emphasizes high-quality patient care, close collaboration with providers, and adherence to safety standards.

You will work within a supportive team delivering diagnostic imaging across rural communities. The ideal candidate holds an Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology, ARRT certification, and Wyoming licensure or eligibility, with experience in X-ray,

• ARRT certification and active registration.
• Wyoming radiologic technologist license or eligibility.
• Experience performing diagnostic imaging with various imaging equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform X-ray, CT, and MRI imaging following protocols and safety standards.
• Position patients and ensure comfort and safety during imaging.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment; report malfunctions.
• Collaborate with physicians to interpret results and provide accurate info.

What You’ll Do

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs, adhering to established protocols and safety standards.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring it is in proper working condition and reporting any malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results and provide accurate diagnostic information.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, including documenting procedures performed and ensuring confidentiality of patient information.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and protocols to minimize exposure to patients, staff, and self.
• Stay current with advancements in radiologic technology and techniques through ongoing education and professional development.

What We’re Looking For

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current certification and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technicians (ARRT).
• Valid state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in Wyoming or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to employment.
• Proven experience performing diagnostic imaging procedures, with proficiency in operating various imaging equipment.
• Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols and procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide compassionate patient care.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and adapt to changing priorities.
