Job summary

Renown Health in Reno, NV seeks an Ultrasound Department Manager to oversee daily operation, lead staff, and perform diagnostic, therapeutic and interventional imaging. You will coordinate workflow, ensure patient safety, correct preparation, and accuracy of exams in collaboration with radiologists and cardiologists.

Responsibilities include policy development for the Imaging Department, staff scheduling, new employee orientation, inventory, QC monitoring, and participation in quality

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
  • Experience: Minimum of two years of Ultrasound experience.
  • Licenses/Registrations: Active registry with Cardiovascular Credentialing International or ARDMS in Adult/Pediatric echocardiography and/or vascular.
  • Certification: BLS certification by American Heart Association at time of hire.
  • Computer/Typing: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and online training platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operation of the Ultrasound Department and staff.
  • Perform diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional ultrasound procedures.
  • Coordinate staff workflow and ensure QC monitoring.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and cardiologists on imaging
  • Assist with scheduling, orientation, and supply inventory.
