Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound diagnostic procedures as requested by the physician.
• Produces images for ultrasound diagnosis with independent judgment.
• Documents test results and maintains patient images.
• Maintains and inspects ultrasound equipment; performs preventive maintenance.
• Inspects equipment daily and documents needed repairs.
• Maintains patient records per hospital policy; orders supplies and maintains inventory.
