Job summary

MarinHealth Imaging Petaluma seeks a dedicated Ultrasound Technician to perform ultrasound examinations under the supervision of the Imaging Medical Director. You will operate ultrasound equipment to image abdominal, breast, OB/Gyn, vascular and other studies, contributing to accurate radiologist interpretations.

Required ARDMS certification and at least 1 year of clinical ultrasound experience, with BLS and IAMTAC training within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Education required to achieve mandatory certification.
• Certification: ARDMS required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations under supervision.
• Communicate with Radiologist to determine optimal imaging.
• Assist Radiologist with minimally invasive procedures.
• Present patient studies with pertinent history and demographics.
• Participate in daily QC to ensure imaging consistency.
• Interface with Radiology Information System to accurately document procedures.
