MarinHealth Medical Center is seeking an Ultrasound Technician I/II to provide diagnostic ultrasound examinations under supervision. The role requires one RDMS board certification (abdomen or OB/GYN) for Tech I and two RDMS certifications for Tech II, with BLS and IAMTAC eligibility within 30 days of hire.

Candidates should have strong patient communication and teamwork skills. The position offers a variable shift in the United States with compensation aligned to market ranges for radiology

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; A.S. degree desirable.
• For Ultrasound Tech I: internship during training; for Tech II: 2 years paid ultrasound experience in acute care.
• BLS certification required; RDMS and IAMTAC within 30 days of hire.
• Strong communication and ability to interact with patients and staff.

Responsabilités

• Review patient history and results of prior studies.
• Perform sonographic examinations per department policy.
• Select equipment and optimize image quality for each exam.
• Annotate and archive images with proper patient info.
• Send results to Radiologist for interpretation and discuss findings as needed.
• Assist Radiologists with invasive procedures and emergency situations.
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure clean, organized work areas.
