Job summary

UTMB Health is seeking a Radiology Technical Assistant for Ultrasound to support imaging procedures and patient care. You will assist with room setup, patient positioning, and equipment readiness, under supervision of the Modality Technologist, Modality Lead or Supervisor.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, BLS CPR certification, and a strong commitment to patient safety and exceptional service. Monday–Friday 7:30am–4:00pm with possible inter-site travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS CPR Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing rooms for radiologic procedures; ensure supplies are available.
• Assist with patient flow and transport using bed, stretcher or wheelchair.
• Provide comfort and positioning for patients during examinations.
• Maintain aseptic technique and infection control measures.
• Check equipment and supplies for expiration and safety; report needs for replacement.
