Job summary

Boston Imaging, a Samsung subsidiary, seeks a Field Service Engineer for ultrasound systems. You will be the senior technical resource at major hospitals, handling escalated service issues, performing on-site diagnostics, and supporting sales of systems and service contracts.

The role requires extensive travel and deep ultrasound product knowledge. You will work remotely and/or from an office, supporting channel partners and end users across a strategic US region.

Qualifications

• Technical degree in electrical or software engineering or related discipline.
• 10+ years of field service experience preferred.
• Exceptional customer service with strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Must be able to comply with hospital credentialing requirements.
• Ability to travel 75% and work in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support for premium ultrasound imaging products at tier-one hospitals.
• Lead troubleshooting and coordinate corrective actions for complex issues.
• Travel to field sites to train staff and resolve customer problems.
• Collaborate with biomeds and senior staff to ensure customer satisfaction and service quality.
• Maintain service calendars, generate reports, and document all activities.
