Mercy in Marietta, OK is seeking an Associate Sonographer to operate ultrasound imaging equipment, capture diagnostic images, and assist with patient care. You will explain procedures, ensure safety, and document imaging in PACS, collaborating closely with physicians and the care team.

Educational requirements include graduation from a accredited sonography program or ARDMS/ARRT licensing; BLS within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of Sonography and completed required clinical hours OR registered sonographer.
• BLS within 30 days of hire is required or registry eligibility.

Responsabilités

• Operate imaging equipment and capture high-quality ultrasound images.
• Prepare, position, and transfer patients; explain procedures and address concerns.
• Evaluate orders, document results, and verify imaging in PACS.
• Monitor equipment and ensure radiation safety; maintain equipment.
• Collaborate with physicians and care team to support patient care.
