The Kaleida Health DeGraff Medical Park Ultrasound department seeks an Ultrasonography Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging with emphasis on patient care and positioning.

Full-time, onsite role in North Tonawanda, NY, with day shifts 7a-3p or 8a-4p and weekend rotations. Requires RDMS certification within 18 months, BLS within 90 days, and prior ultrasound experience. Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Graduate of an approved School/Program of Sonography OR a graduate of an accredited School/Program of Sonography required.
• Reg Diag Med Sonograph (RDMS) required within 18 months of hire or transfer.
• Must become certified as a Sonographer and be registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) within 18 months upon hire/transfer and sit for both exams within 12 months from hire/transfer.

Reg Diag Med Sonograph (RDMS) required within 18 months of hire or transfer. Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire/transfer. Credentialed as Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) upon hire preferred. Must become certified as a Sonographer and be registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) within (18) months upon hire/transfer and sit for both exams within (12) months from hire/transfer and successfully pass both exams within (18) months. Registration/certification is attained by passing both the Physics Examination (Sonography Principles and Instrumentation) and Abdomen. Experience1 year of experience in Ultrasound Staff Technologist or twelve (12) months clinical experience in an intern/externship of an accredited Ultrasonography Program required. 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, vascular experience in upper and lower extremities preferred.
