Education and Credentials

Degree or certificate in Diagnostic Ultrasound from a certified Ultrasound Program required. Must become credentialed as Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) within 3 years of hire/transfer and sit for the first exam within 18 months of hire/transfer, passing within 3 years. Certification must be current and maintained. BLS certification within 90 days required.

Experience

2 years in a clinical setting, vascular experience preferred. 1 year of Ultrasonography Technology or clinical rotation preferred.
