Position: Travel: Ultrasonographer / Radiology - NIGHTS

Position Information:

• Start: ASAP
• Shift: Friday, Saturday & Sunday (3, 12-hour shifts)
• Time: 7pm to 7am, with no call

REQUIREMENTS:

• ARDMS certification or registry eligible
• BLS (AHA OR ARC)
• Vascular and General experience
• Scrub color: Any color, other than Hunter Green or Caribbean Blue
• Patient ratio: 8-10 in the 12-hour shift

The Ultrasound Technician is a graduate of an accredited AMA school, registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT), maintains a State License as a general radiographer, and/or is a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS). The technician is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatient settings under the supervision of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: abdominal, pelvic (gynecological & obstetrical), and transvaginal sonograms. Additionally, proficiency in scanning small parts (thyroid, breast & scrotum) along with ultrasound-guided biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and aspirations is required.
