Qualifications

• Graduate or graduation eligible from an approved school of medical sonography.
• One year dedicated ultrasound experience or none required with educational attainment.
• Proof of passing result on ARDMS or ARRT examination within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound procedures and patient care requiring independent judgment.
• Produce optimum results in diagnostic ultrasound and interventional procedures.
• Work independently under the direction of a physician.

Responsibilities

Independently, or under the direction of a physician, performs ultrasound procedures and patient care requiring independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative in the utilization of prescribed ultrasound techniques for diagnosis and intervention. Has responsibility for diagnostic ultrasound, interventional and other examination procedures and physiology; with independent selection and modification of technical factors to produce optimum results.

Education and Experience

• Required: Graduate or graduation eligible from an approved school of medical sonography; one year dedicated ultrasound experience or none required with educational attainment.
