Job summary

The Ultrasonographer will operate equipment, document findings, and maintain high‑quality imaging while supporting a patient-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA accredited program in radiologic technology.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in sonography.
• Active ARRT certification in Radiography.
• Active Radiography certification through the LSTRBE.
• Active Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
• Active BLS CPR required.

Job Description

SCOPE:

An Ultrasonographer is responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires a high degree of technical expertise, patient care, and collaboration with healthcare professionals. The Ultrasound Technologist must operate ultrasound equipment to obtain high-quality images and ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
