Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in the Columbus Forge unit seeks an Ultrasonic NDT Subject Matter Expert to support production, collaborate with Engineering and Operations, and drive continuous improvement of NDT processes and systems.

You will mentor, perform audits, oversee inspection systems, and provide technical guidance and training. Experience in immersion ultrasonic, etch, and FPI within aerospace manufacturing is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent experience with 8+ years NDT experience, or advanced degree with 5+ years.
• Detailed knowledge of NDT processes and procedures in the aerospace industry.

Responsibilities

• Support NDT audits and certifications, provide technical guidance and training, perform inspection system oversight.
• Drive process improvements and integration with engineering and operations in the Columbus Forge unit.
• Develop/continue improving NDT processes and systems, including immersion ultrasonic, etch, and FPI.
