L3Harris is seeking an Ultrasonic Inspector Level 2 for the Canoga Park, CA facility. You will inspect ferrous and nonferrous stock, diffu-sion bonded parts, and assemblies using immersion and contact ultrasonic equipment, ensuring compliance with fracture control specs and customer criteria.

The role requires a current Ultrasonic LII certification, at least two years aerospace UT experience, and ability to read drawings and document inspection findings.

Qualifications

• Must have a current Ultrasonic LII certification.
• Minimum two years aerospace UT experience.
• Able to run a UT Immersion system.
• Prefer reading and interpreting drawings; documenting inspection findings; competent with office tools (PowerPoint/Excel/Word).

Responsabilités

• Plan methods and select ultrasonic equipment for inspecting ferrous/nonferrous materials and assemblies.
• Set up and operate immersion and contact ultrasonic equipment to exact tolerances.
• Follow manuals, prepare materials for inspection, and adapt procedures as needed.
• Monitor and adjust equipment to maintain data integrity and interpret readings for defects.
• Record results manually or digitally and determine accept/reject decisions per fracture control specs.
