L3Harris Technologies, Canoga Park, CA, seeks an Ultrasonic Inspector Level 2 to support NASA, Military, and Commercial contracts. The role involves inspecting ferrous and nonferrous stock, brazed assemblies, and diffusion bonded parts using ultrasonic methods.

On a 9/80 schedule, you will work second shift after training on first shift, with every other Friday off. The team ensures fracture control and compliance with customer criteria in a high-stakes aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a current Ultrasonic LII certification.
• Minimum two years aerospace UT experience.
• Able to run a UT Immersion system.

Responsabilités

• Plan methods and select ultrasonic equipment to inspect ferrous and nonferrous parts and weldments.
• Set up and operate immersion and contact ultrasonic equipment to exact tolerances.
• Follow manuals or develop procedures when standards are not specified; prepare materials for inspection.
• Monitor equipment and adjust during inspection to compensate for signals; input data as required.
• Inspect readings and interpret indications of flaws; determine acceptability and document results.
