Xylem seeks an experienced R&D Engineer - Ultrapure Water to develop, test, and validate next‑generation water treatment technologies. This hands‑on role focuses on operating laboratory and pilot systems, with initial emphasis on UV and EDI.
You will design experiments, collect and analyze data, and document results for engineering recommendations. Requirements include a Bachelor's or Master's in Chemical/Mechanical/Environmental Engineering or Chemistry and 5+ years in water treatment or pilot
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in a relevant engineering/chemistry field.
- 5+ years in water treatment, pilot operations, or related labs.
- Experience with ultrapure water systems.
- Knowledge of UV, EDI, membranes or advanced water treatment.
- Hands-on operation, troubleshooting, and data recording.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain ultrapure water test rigs and pilot systems.
- Plan and run lab and pilot experiments evaluating performance.
- Lead hands-on testing, troubleshooting, and validation.
- Analyze data and prepare technical reports.
- Collaborate with global teams across R&D and Engineering.
- Improve test methods, equipment reliability, and data quality.
- Ensure safety and quality standards in testing.
