Job summary

Donaldson Company, Inc. is seeking an Ultra Web Operator for our Frankfort, IN location. This is a 2nd shift on-site role from 2:30 p.m.

to 10:30 p.m. You will assemble filtration products in a collaborative, team-based environment and perform routine quality checks while following setup sheets and route prints. The role requires mechanical aptitude, ability to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance, basic math, and computer use.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude with basic measurement tools and gauges.
• Ability to read prints and route sheets; perform quality checks.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds with assistance and following safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Recognize and understand the operations and machines involved with the media process
• Produce media within acceptable quality and quantity standards as stated in the prints and/or route sheets
• Perform quality checks and tests as assigned
• Follow first piece and set-up sheets, Monitoring production rates
• Complete all applicable paperwork - scrap report, media usage sheet, media testing sheet, oil runs, etc.
• Performs machine change over
• Perform preventative maintenance on all assigned equipment
• Comply with all DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures
• Use all designated Personal Protective Equipment as required

The Ultra Web Operator role at our Frankfort, IN location involves working collaboratively to assemble filtration products in an innovative, team-oriented environment. This is a 2nd shift on-site position, with hours from 2:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Role Responsibilities

• Recognize and understand the operations and machines involved with the media process

Minimum Qualifications

• Exhibit mechanical aptitude - Equipment such as gages, calipers, indicators, scales, and tape measures
• Ability to use computer and understand basic math principles
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds from a squat level lift from the floor to the waist, a shoulder level lift to 60 inches at 35 pounds, a horizontal lift and carry for 10 feet, lift up to 50 pounds with the assistance of another employee
• A combination of education and experience, generally acquired through the attainment of a high school diploma, or equivalent plus a minimum of two years of trade school or qualified work experience

Hourly Rate: $27.44. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, including but not limited to applicable work experience, training, education, and performance. This position is eligible for an annual incentive plan based on performance and company growth.
