Job summary

Donaldson is seeking an Ultraweb Operator for its Frankfort, IN facility. This 2nd shift, on-site role runs from 2:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. and involves assembling filtration products in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

You will recognize and operate the media processes, perform quality checks, execute machine changeovers, and conduct routine maintenance while complying with safety and environmental policies. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Exhibit mechanical aptitude.
• Equipment such as gauges, calipers, indicators, scales, and tape measures.
• Ability to use a computer and understand basic math principles.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds from squat to waist, and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Education and experience: HS diploma or equivalent plus two years of trade school or qualified work experience.

Responsibilities

• Recognize and understand the operations and machines involved with the media process.
• Produce media within acceptable quality and quantity standards as stated in the prints and/or route sheets.
• Perform quality checks and tests as assigned.
• Follow first piece and setup sheets; monitor production rates.
• Complete all applicable paperwork – scrap report, media usage sheet, media testing sheet, oil runs, etc.
• Perform machine changeovers.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all assigned equipment.
• Comply with all DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures.
• Use all designated Personal Protective Equipment as required.
• Other duties may be assigned to fulfill Donaldson’s mission and objectives.

The Ultra Web Operator role at our Frankfort, IN location involves working collaboratively to assemble filtration products in an innovative, team-oriented environment. This is a 2nd shift on-site position, with hours from 2:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Role Responsibilities

• Recognize and understand the operations and machines involved with the media process

Minimum Qualifications

• Exhibit mechanical aptitude
• Equipment such as gages, calipers, indicators, scales, and tape measures
• Ability to use computer and understand basic math principles
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds from a squat level lift from the floor to the waist, a shoulder level lift to 60 inches at 35 pounds, a horizontal lift and carry for 10 feet, lift up to 50 pounds with the assistance of another employee
• A combination of education and experience, generally acquired through the attainment of a high school diploma, or equivalent plus a minimum of two years of trade school or qualified work experience

Hourly Rate: $27.44

Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, including but not limited to applicable work experience, training, education, and performance.

This position is eligible for an annual incentive plan based on performance and company growth.
