Job summary

Donaldson Company in Frankfort, IN is seeking a Ultra Web Operator for the 2nd shift on-site. Hours are 2:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. You will assemble filtration products in a team-oriented environment and ensure quality per prints and route sheets.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to read prints and route sheets.
• Experience with gauges, calipers, indicators, scales and tape measures.
• Ability to perform basic math and read blueprints.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Recognize and understand the operations and machines involved with the media process.
• Produce media within acceptable quality and quantity standards as stated in the prints and/or route sheets.
• Perform quality checks and tests as assigned.
• Follow first piece and set-up sheets, monitoring production rates.
• Complete all applicable paperwork - scrap report, media usage sheet, media testing sheet, oil runs, etc.
• Performs machine change over.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all assigned equipment.
• Comply with all DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures.
• Use all designated Personal Protective Equipment as required.
