Job summary

Donaldson Company in Frankfort, IN is seeking a Floating Ultra Web Operator. This on-site role operates on 1st shift from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

You will assemble filtration products in a team environment, perform quality checks, read prints, and support with machine changeovers and routine preventative maintenance. Minimum qualifications include mechanical aptitude, ability to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance, and experience with basic math, measurement tools, and reading blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Recognize and understand the operations and machines involved with the media process.
• Produce media within acceptable quality and quantity standards as stated in the prints and/or route sheets.
• Perform quality checks and tests as assigned.
• Follow first piece and set-up sheets; monitor production rates.
• Complete all applicable paperwork - scrap report, media usage sheet, media testing sheet, oil runs, etc.
• Perform machine change over.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all assigned equipment.
• Comply with DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures.
• Use designated Personal Protective Equipment as required.
• Other duties as assigned to support Donaldson’s mission.

The **Floating Ultra Web Operator** role at our **Frankfort, IN** location involves working collaboratively to assemble filtration products in an innovative, team-oriented environment. Other duties may be assigned in order to fulfill Donaldson’s mission, vision and strategic plan objectives.**Minimum Qualifications**:* Exhibit mechanical aptitude* Equipment such as gages, calipers, indicators, scales, and tape measures* Ability to use computer and understand basic math principles* Ability to lift up to 35 pounds from a squat level lift from the floor to the waist, a shoulder level lift to 60 inches at 35 pounds, a horizontal lift and carry for 10 feet, lift up to 50 pounds with the assistance of another employee* A combination of education and experience, generally acquired through the attainment of a high school diploma, or equivalent plus a minimum of two years of trade school or qualified work experience**Preferred Qualifications*** Problem solves efficiently and effectively* Work effectively with limited supervision* Maintain consistent high quality in work habits* Maintain accurate records exhibiting attention to detail* Adhere to safety procedures* Exhibit attention to detail* React to change productively and to handle other tasks as assigned* Maintain a pattern of regular and predictable attendance* Ability to read and understand basic statistical process control principles, and be able to read and understand a blueprint**Hourly Rate:** $27.44Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, including but not limited to applicable work experience, training, education, and performance.This position is eligible for an annual incentive plan based on performance and company growth.
