• Process images and send through PACS to Radiologist for interpretation.
• Report abnormalities to appropriate medical staff for immediate attention.

City/State: Elmsford, New York Grant Funded: No Department: MEAC - Elmsford Radiology Work Shift: Day Work Days: MON-FRI Scheduled Hours: 8:30 AM-4:30 PM Scheduled Daily Hours: 8 HOURS Hourly Rate: $55.00 For positions that have only a rate listed, the displayed rate is the hiring rate but could be subject to change based on shift differential, experience, education or other relevant factors.

1. Performs ultrasound examinations according to established department policies and procedures.
2. Proficient in general, vascular, and breast Ultrasound.
3. Manage several patients and priorities and be able to adapt to a fast-paced work environment

5. Maintain a high level of technical proficiency and stay up to date with the latest advancements in ultrasound technology.
6. Assist in maintaining and managing ultrasound equipment and supplies.
7. Prepares exam room, equipment, accessories, and materials as needed for various exams.
8. Prepare patients for examination, explains procedures, and assist patients on and off the exam table. Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
9. Practice sterile and isolation techniques to prevent contamination
10. Assists department to meet federal and state rules and regulation.
11. Participates in identifying and correcting required changes.
12. Completely processes images and sends through PACS system to Radiologist for interpretation.
13. Report to the appropriate medical staff of any abnormalities that require immediate attention
14. Any additional duties as assigned.
