Job summary

Employbridge is seeking a UL Lab Engineer in Buford, GA to support product certification testing and regulatory approvals for electrical and electromechanical products. Early‑career engineers will gain expertise in UL, CSA, and IEC standards within a hands‑on laboratory environment.

You will manage certification projects, coordinate testing with technicians, and prepare reports and submissions while collaborating with engineers and certification agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• 1–3 years of engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of electrical theory.
• Analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/Outlook/Teams).
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage certification projects supporting UL and CSA approvals.
• Coordinate testing activities with laboratory technicians and supervisors.
• Conduct product evaluations and certification testing per standards.
• Assist senior staff with complex certification and compliance projects.
• Interpret UL, CSA, and IEC requirements for products.
• Prepare technical reports and certification submissions.
• Track project schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues during testing.
• Participate in lab process improvements and learning initiatives.
• Support customers and internal engineering teams in certification efforts.
