Actalent is seeking an experienced Compliance Engineer in Milwaukee for accelerating UL certification processes and ensuring CE/CSA compliance across product variants. The role partners with R&D and System Design to streamline workflows and expedite project completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on drives/systems certification.
• Strong knowledge of UL/CE/CSA codes and regulations.
• 10+ years of related experience in panel shop and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary interface with UL for product and system certification.
• Maintain certifications for existing products and ensure new products achieve certification.
• Collaborate with R&D Product Team and System Designer to achieve UL and CE compliance.
• Coordinate with UL for DAP audits.
• Focus on customer satisfaction and assist team members in meeting project budgets.
• Foster open communication across technical and business functions, including sales, operations, and quality.
• Participate in continuous learning, standardization, and high-quality design with a focus on manufacturability.
• Ensure compliance with safety and work regulations while maintaining departmental housekeeping standards.
