Job summary

Electric Supply & Equipment is seeking a Quality Control Technician to inspect and assure compliant control panel builds in a production setting. You will verify wiring, labeling, safety interlocks, and grounding per UL508A and NEC guidelines, while maintaining documentation for audits and continuous improvement.

The role requires hands-on testing of panels, harnesses, and sub-assemblies, plus calibration management and collaboration with engineers to implement corrective actions when needed.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Technology or related technical field.
• NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NFPA 79 knowledge and UL508A familiarity desired.
• Experience in control panel assembly, wiring, testing, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Inspect control panels at multiple production stages to ensure compliance with UL508A and NEC.
• Perform functional tests on panels, harnesses, and sub-assemblies and document results.
• Maintain calibration logs and ensure measuring instruments meet UL508A standards.
• Ensure proper labeling, safety interlocks, grounding, and interconnections on assemblies.
• Collaborate with engineers and production to address quality or safety concerns.
