Job summary

Torrey Holistics seeks a skilled Controls Panel Builder to assemble industrial control panels end-to-end from engineering drawings and wiring diagrams. You will perform point-to-point wiring, cable routing, labeling, and create clean terminations while mounting electrical devices and integrating mechanical subassemblies.

You will verify with continuity tests, insulation resistance tests, and functional checks, ensuring UL 508A/ NEC compliance and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Experience building industrial control panels end-to-end from drawings, schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Ability to perform point-to-point wiring, cable routing, labeling and clean terminations.
• Mount and integrate electrical devices: PLCs, VFDs, relays, breakers, power supplies, terminals.
• Assemble mechanical components and integrate electrical and mechanical subsystems.
• Use torque tools and precision measurement devices to verify fit and function.

A day in the lifeYou start your shift with a set of engineering drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams. By mid‑morning, you’ve transformed raw enclosures into UL 508A‑compliant control panels—routing cables, landing terminations, and torque‑verifying connections. After lunch, you’re validating continuity and insulation resistance, redlining a print to flag a design tweak, and collaborating with engineering.
