Job summary

Language Services Associates is seeking Ukrainian interpreters for the Shrewsbury area. As an independently contracted interpreter, you will facilitate language communication for LEP communities across a variety of settings and assignments.

Responsibilities include providing superior customer service, upholding the Code of Professional Conduct and confidentiality, following client policies, meeting clearance requirements, and reporting on-site for accepted assignments.

Qualifications

• Full fluency in English and Ukrainian.
• Strong client service skills.
• 1+ year of professional interpreting experience preferred.
• Industry-specific certifications (CMI, CCHI) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service.
• Adhere to Code of Professional Conduct, including maintaining confidentiality.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including interpreting protocols and best practices.
• Adhere to clearance requirements as requested by clients.
• Report on-site to accepted assignments in a timely manner.
