Job summary

Language Services Associates, Inc. is seeking Ukrainian interpreters to support the LEP community in Shrewsbury, NJ. As a member of LSA’s network of Independently Contracted Interpreters, you will facilitate language communication across diverse settings and assignment types.

Qualified candidates will be fluent in English and Ukrainian and have at least 1 year of interpreting experience; industry training such as CMI or CCHI is a plus. On-site availability and reliable transport are expected.

Qualifications

• Full fluency in both English and Ukrainian.
• The ability to provide a high level of client service.
• 1+ year of professional interpreting experience preferred.
• Industry certifications/trainings preferred (CMI, CCHI, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service
• Adhere to Code of Professional Conduct, including maintaining strict standards of confidentiality
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including professional interpretation protocols and industry specific best practices
• Adhere to clearance requirements as requested by clients
• Report on site to any accepted assignments in a timely manner
• Access to personal or public transport
