Job summary

Language Services Associates is seeking Ukrainian interpreters in the Shrewsbury, NJ area to support LEP communities across a variety of settings. As an Independently Contracted Interpreter in LSA’s network, you will facilitate language communication for diverse assignments.

Responsibilities include providing superior customer service, adhering to the Code of Professional Conduct and confidentiality, following interpretation protocols, meeting client clearance requirements, and reporting to

Qualifications

• Full fluency in both English and Ukrainian.
• The ability to provide a high level of client service.
• 1+ year of professional interpreting experience preferred.
• Industry specific certifications/trainings preferred (CMI, CCHI, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service
• Adhere to Code of Professional Conduct, including maintaining strict standards of confidentiality
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including professional interpretation protocols and industry specific best practices
• Adhere to clearance requirements as requested by clients
• Report on site to any accepted assignments in a timely manner
• Access to personal or public transport
