About the opportunity:

1. Outlier is looking for talented writers with fluency in Ukrainian to help train generative artificial intelligence models.
2. This freelance opportunity is remote and hours are flexible, so you can work whenever is best for you.
3. Reading Ukrainian text to rank responses produced by an AI model.
4. Writing a short story in Ukrainian on a given topic.
5. Assessing whether Ukrainian text produced by an AI is factually accurate.

Examples of desirable expertise:

1. Experience as a professional translator.
2. Enrollment in or completion of an undergraduate program in a humanities field or related to writing.
3. Enrollment in or completion of a graduate program related to creative writing.

Payment:

1. Average pay rate for Ukrainian writing experts is USD $22.5 per hour.
2. Rates vary based on expertise, skills assessment, location, project needs, and other factors. Higher rates may be offered to PhDs. For initial onboarding or overtime, lower rates may apply. Some projects include incentive payments. Please review specific payment terms for each project.
