• Own configuration, testing, UAT support, defect resolution, deployment readiness and post-go-live stabilization

Role summary

We are seeking a UKG Ready implementation consultant who can independently design and configure Position Management, organization structures and reporting hierarchies. The role requires translating business structures into maintainable system configuration and validating their effect on employee assignments, approvals, security and reporting.

Key responsibilities

Position Management configuration

• Gather requirements for position definitions, position attributes, job and position relationships, occupancy and vacancy handling within the clients licensed UKG Ready capabilities.
• Configure position records, employee assignments and applicable approval workflows; document rules for creating, changing and closing positions.
• Validate position changes, employee transfers and manager changes, including effective dates and relevant downstream dependencies.

Organization structure and hierarchy

• Design and configure the organization structure, including applicable entities, business units, departments, locations and cost centers, based on business requirements.
• Configure and validate reporting relationships and manager hierarchies, distinguishing organization, position and employee reporting requirements.
• Assess the impact of structure and hierarchy changes on workflow routing, manager self-service, data visibility and reports.
• Identify inconsistent assignments and hierarchy data, recommend corrections and validate reorganizations through agreed test scenarios.

Implementation and consulting

• Lead discovery workshops, document the current structure and recommend a practical future-state design.
• Prepare configuration workbooks, mapping documents, data templates, test scripts and administrator guides.
• Coordinate data conversion and interface requirements with HR, Payroll and technical teams; validate position and organization data after import.
• Own configuration, testing, UAT support, defect resolution, deployment readiness, training and post-go-live stabilization.

Required experience and skills

• 48 years of relevant UKG implementation experience, with demonstrable hands‑on UKG Ready experience in Position Management and organization structure and hierarchy configuration.
• Ability to independently explain position versus job concepts, reporting relationships, employee assignments and the configuration personally delivered.
• Experience designing and testing approval routing, role‑based access and manager visibility associated with organizational hierarchies.
• Experience across requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, data validation, UAT, go‑live and hypercare.
• Strong client communication, problem‑solving, documentation and ownership of implementation deliverables.

Preferred qualifications

UKG Ready training or certification relevant to the role; consulting or implementation partner experience; exposure to Core HR, organizational reporting, data migration and HR or payroll interfaces.

Working expectations

Work directly with client stakeholders and coordinate with the India delivery team. Be available for US client meetings and project activities at agreed times.

Profile submission requirements

• Specify the exact UKG product and modules worked on, with years of experience in each required module.
• Summarize relevant implementation projects, phases delivered and configuration personally owned. Clearly distinguish implementation work from production support or end‑user administration.
• Include current and expected compensation, notice period, earliest joining date, current location and availability for US client calls.
• Confirm HR screening status and provide a brief assessment of module fit and communication skills.
