You will use inspection gauges to ensure quality, maintain a clean work area and follow plant safety rules, including wearing safety glasses. The position emphasizes practical problem-solving and physical endurance in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Technical school certification, or 1 year equivalent experience.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables.
• Standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally; overhead reaching.
• Exposure to moving mechanical parts; moderate noise level.

• Set up and operate equipment in the UJ Mill area like Bridgeport, finish mill, hone, tube drill.
• Completely required quality and production documentation
• Use required inspection methods and gauges to ensure quality
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition
• Follow plant rules and safety glasses

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Technical school certification, or 1 year equivalent experience.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to continually stand. The employee is frequently required to walk; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms (overhead reaching), push or pull and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
