Job description

All Jobs > UiPath & Microsoft Power Automate

We are seeking an experienced Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Developer to design, develop, maintain, and modernize enterprise automation solutions within a Federal Client environment.

The successful candidate must have hands-on UiPath development experience combined with demonstrated Microsoft Power Platform experience, particularly Microsoft Power Automate. This combination is a critical qualification for the position. The role will support existing UiPath automations while helping transition, reengineer, and develop automation solutions within the Microsoft Power Platform.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate practical experience building and supporting production automations—not simply familiarity with the platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain robotic process automation solutions that streamline Federal Client business and mission-support processes.
  • Develop, maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance UiPath automations in production environments.
  • Design and develop automation solutions using Microsoft Power Automate, including cloud flows and desktop flows.
  • Support the transition and migration of existing UiPath automations to Microsoft Power Automate and the broader Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Assess current-state UiPath bots, workflows, dependencies, credentials, integrations, exception handling, and operational requirements to determine appropriate migration strategies.
  • Reengineer and optimize existing automations rather than performing direct one-to-one conversions when process or platform improvements are identified.
  • Develop cloud flows, desktop flows, attended and unattended automations, and other Power Platform solutions in accordance with approved technical standards.
  • Develop, update, and maintain UiPath automations during the transition period to ensure continuity of operations.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Process Owners, Federal Client stakeholders, and technical teams to evaluate automation opportunities, assess feasibility, and define functional and technical requirements.
  • Integrate automation solutions with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, Excel, databases, APIs, enterprise applications, and other approved client systems.
  • Configure and support Power Platform environments, connections, gateways, service accounts, credentials, and solution packages in coordination with system administrators.
  • Create and maintain SDDs, PDDs, deployment guides, test plans, operational support procedures, and user documentation.
  • Develop and execute unit, integration, regression, user acceptance, and performance testing.
  • Troubleshoot automation failures, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor deployed automations and provide ongoing maintenance, enhancements, production support, and performance optimization.
  • Follow established configuration management, source control, release management, SDLC, Agile, and DevSecOps practices.
  • Participate in peer code reviews, technical design reviews, Agile ceremonies, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop reusable automation components, templates, standards, and best practices.
  • Provide technical guidance, knowledge transfer, and end-user support related to automation solutions.

Disclaimer "The responsibilities and duties outlined in this job description are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this role. However, they are not exhaustive and may be subject to change or modification at any time to meet the evolving needs of the organization."
