Job summary
Leidos is seeking an experienced UiPath Automation Engineer to design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade RPA solutions for US Coast Guard operations in Alexandria, VA. You will lead automation initiatives from discovery to production, mentor developers, and advance our RPA Center of Excellence.
The role requires 4–8 years in IT with UiPath, Orchestrator, and REFramework proficiency, plus API integration, SQL, and cloud familiarity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent IT experience with 4–8 years in IT.
- 4+ years hands-on RPA development experience, 3+ years in UiPath.
- UiPath Advanced RPA Developer certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days.
- Strong proficiency in UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, REFramework, and deployment/administration.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases; API integration (REST/SOAP).
- Solid understanding of .NET/C# and OO concepts.
- Experience with cloud SaaS offerings and collaboration tools.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy end-to-end automation workflows using UiPath Studio and Orchestrator.
- Lead process discovery and design sessions with stakeholders to translate requirements into automation solutions.
- Architect reusable components and libraries to accelerate development and ensure coding standards.
- Integrate UiPath bots with enterprise systems (APIs, databases, ERP/CRM, Document Understanding).
- Implement exception handling, logging, and monitoring for production stability.
- Mentor junior/mid-level developers and conduct code reviews; support CoE governance and delivery standards.
- Manage bot deployment lifecycle including CI/CD pipelines, version control, and Orchestrator administration.
- Troubleshoot production incidents and perform root-cause analysis; maintain compliance with security requirements.
