Job summary

The Manitowoc Company is seeking a software engineer to design, develop, and test Linux-based crane operator displays and user interfaces. You will work with a multidisciplinary team of software, controls, and systems engineers to deliver reliable UI solutions that interact with crane control systems over Ethernet.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS/CE/SE or related field.
Experience with C++ in academic or professional projects.
Understanding of object-oriented programming.
Strong debugging skills using GDB and Valgrind.
Familiarity with Git and source control.
Interest in embedded Linux and UI development.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Linux-based operator display software.
Create GUI using Qt and QML.
Collaborate with engineers to implement features.
Integrate display software with crane control systems via Ethernet.
Support verification, testing, and documentation.
