Job summary

MI Technical Solutions, Inc. is seeking a UI/UX Developer to design and create user-facing interfaces and experiences. The role involves analyzing user requirements, creating personas and wireframes, and collaborating with engineers and product managers to implement designs.

You will develop UI mockups, prototypes, and ensure accessibility compliance across browsers and devices while adhering to typography and design standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology or related field.
• 3+ years’ experience in user-facing design and development.
• Experience with React.js, CSS, and Power Platform interfaces.
• Familiar with UI wireframe tools like Figma and Balsamiq.
• Knowledge of Google Material Design and WCAG accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements and behavior to design user-friendly interfaces.
• Create user personas, journey maps, and wireframes to guide the design process.
• Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs, and widgets.
• Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites or applications function and look.
• Work closely with software engineers and product managers to implement designs.
• Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to improve design.
• Stay up to date with design application changes and industry developments.
• Ensure all design elements, templates and finished solutions work within a variety of browser types and screen settings.
• Adhere to style standards on typography and graphic design.
• Ensure applications adhere to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.

• 3+years’ experience in user-facing design and development

• Ability to work independently and autonomously
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Experience using UI wireframe/mockup tools such as Figma and Balsamiq
• Knowledge of design standards such as Google Material Design and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines
