Bcore in Reston, VA is seeking a UI/UX Developer to design and implement user‑facing products for web applications. You will collaborate with AI and backend engineers to translate user needs into actionable features and intuitive interfaces.

The role emphasizes human-centered design, multiple design options, and progressive disclosure to enable users to explore complex content. A strong portfolio in data‑driven UI is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant experience
• Experience with front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
• Experience with modern UI frameworks (React, Angular, etc.)
• Demonstrated experience designing user-centered interfaces for complex applications
• Understanding of UX principles, usability, and interaction design
• Experience with Human-Centered Design methods and iterative prototyping
• Ability to translate user needs into functional design solutions
• Experience with design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD)

Responsibilities

• UI/UX Design & Implementation: research, design, and build user-facing products from idea to pilot
• Front-End Development: build front-end components using modern frameworks
• User Experience Optimization: translate pain points into intuitive interfaces
• Human-Centered Design: apply HCD principles in iterative prototyping
• Design Options & Trade-Off Analysis: present multiple options with pros/cons
• Self-Paced Navigation & Summary Analytics: design navigational experiences with analytics
• Usability & Accessibility: ensure accessibility best practices
• Design Systems: maintain consistent design patterns and style guides
• User Research & Feedback: gather user input to improve design
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: work with backend engineers and product teams
• Performance Optimization: improve front-end performance and scalability
• 3+ years designing and building user-facing products
