Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a UI/UX Designer to join a global technology company. This role involves gathering requirements in collaboration with the product manager and engineers, focusing on the end user experience, and illustrating design ideas via storyboards, process flows, and site maps. Responsibilities include designing graphic UI elements such as menus, tabs, widgets, and building navigation pages with buttons and search fields. The designer will develop designs, mockups, and prototypes to present to internal teams and stakeholders, then work with the development team to bring these designs to life while considering modern architecture. The role also requires taking feedback, working collaboratively to adjust designs, troubleshooting UX problems, and adhering to style standards. The goal is to collaborate on design aspects to expand internal and external service offerings, working on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Skills and Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience with UI/UX Design
• Experience with ADA and Accessibility UI/UX Design, including WCAG Guidelines (Contrast, Color, Visual Cues, Typography, Interactive Elements, Consistent Navigation, Alt text, Keyboard navigation, Responsive design)
• Proficiency with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Ability to illustrate design ideas with storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps
• Experience creating UI mockups, prototypes, and original graphic designs
