About the Role

Roar Apex seeks a talented UI/UX Designer to lead the design of user interfaces for a suite of tools addressing environmental challenges. This includes a GPS-enabled mobile app for field operatives, an internal command dashboard, and a government portal. The ideal candidate combines systemic thinking, speed, and user-centered design to create intuitive, functional experiences across mobile and web platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead UI/UX design for three core platforms:

• Mobile Application: Mission dashboard, interactive maps, photo submissions, GPS tracking, and statistics.

• Internal Web Dashboard: Tools for mission planning, bounty reviews, and trap deployment tracking.

• Government Portal: Read-only dashboards with analytics, data exports, and compliance insights.

• Translate operational workflows and complex data into clean, user-friendly interfaces.

• Develop and maintain a scalable design system supporting all platforms.

• Collaborate with internal teams and field users to incorporate feedback rapidly.

• Ensure consistent, accessible user experience across all tools.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience designing production-ready mobile and web applications.

• Proficiency in Figma and experience with React/React Native.

• Ability to address diverse user needs, from field techs to office staff.

• Experience with mapping tools, data visualization, or dashboard design is a plus.

• Familiarity with tools like Airtable, Fulcrum, or Supabase is advantageous.
