Job summary

Socket.dev seeks a senior product designer to lead end-to-end design of web-based product experiences, from discovery through production handoff.

You will partner with product managers and engineers to transform ambiguous problems into intuitive, accessible experiences customers trust, operating with autonomy and grounding decisions in research and business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product design experience including ownership of complex, end-to-end initiatives.
• Expert-level Figma, prototyping, and interaction design skills.
• Strong visual design skills — typography, layout, color, spacing, and attention to detail.
• Experience building and contributing to design systems.
• Leads user research and usability testing and turns insights into decisions.
• Strong grasp of Design Thinking methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills — explains design rationale and influences across teams.
• Portfolio showing senior-level impact: problem, process, and measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

Qualifications
