Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager – UI to lead the UI engineering team for Security Director Cloud and On-Premise. The role combines people leadership, technical direction, and execution ownership to deliver scalable, intuitive security management solutions.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years in software development, 3+ years leading teams, and strong skills in modern front-end technologies, design systems, and cloud-native enterprise platforms.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software development experience, including 3+ years leading software engineering teams.
• Experience leading globally distributed UI engineering teams across geographies and time zones.
• Proven success delivering large-scale product delivery from conception through production.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration with stakeholders; established engineering processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of UI engineers with a focus on quality and customer impact.
• Own the UI technology roadmap, architecture, and execution strategy for SD Cloud and On-Prem.
• Drive scalable, responsive, and interactive web applications and dashboards.
• Collaborate with Product Management and UX to translate customer needs into experiences.
• Lead design reviews, architecture discussions, and release planning.
• Promote modern UI practices, reusable components, and design systems.
• Ensure quality through code reviews, testing, performance, and security practices.
• Work with cloud, backend, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver end-to-end capabilities.
• Drive Agile planning, risk management, and release readiness.
• Identify and nurture future technical leaders through coaching and mentorship.
