A web development firm in Columbus is looking for an experienced web developer to architect and launch a new corporate website from the ground up. This position involves collaborating closely with design and business teams while advocating for Test Driven Development practices. Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in web development OR 5+ years of experience otherwise.
• Experience with Test Driven Development practices.

Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and launch a new corporate website.
• Collaborate with design and business partners during implementation.

• Ensure website performance, quality, and responsiveness.

Skills

Experience with Content Management Systems (preferably Wordpress)

Experience with server side technologies NodeJS / Express

Strong proficiency with web related protocols and architectures (MVC, MVVM, REST, SOAP, JSON, HTTP, etc)

Experience with workflow automation using Grunt or Gulp

Experience executing large scale website launches from the ground up

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
