Job summary

Linde is seeking a technically skilled engineer to support commissioning, startup, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of analytical systems, analyzers, and ultra-high-purity gas purification setups.

The candidate will work with the Reliability team to develop procedures, interpret P&IDs, and collaborate with maintenance teams. Requires a technical degree, 5+ years in industry, and ability to travel domestically.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (Chemistry or Engineering preferred).
Minimum five years in an industrial environment with safety management and process engineering responsibilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects and write/interpret technical procedures.
Willingness to travel up to 20% within the U.S. and provide after-hours support.
Experience with mass spectrometry, GC, FTIR, and purification systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

Understand and adhere to safety policies and report incidents.
Assist with commissioning, startup, troubleshooting, and maintenance of analytical systems and purifiers.
Identify and maintain spare components for analytical systems.
Support maintenance of bulk gas purification systems at UHPA installations.
Develop and maintain operating and maintenance procedures with the Reliability team.
Read and interpret P&IDs and wiring diagrams to SOPs and QA requirements.
Communicate effectively with plant maintenance teams and travel to plant locations as needed.
