Job summary

J.P. Morgans Private Bank seeks an International Private Bank Associate focused on the China market to support a Senior Banker in managing UHNW client relationships, delivering wealth management solutions, and assisting in new client acquisition and retention.

You will help prepare pitches, coordinate information, and execute on client needs across regions while maintaining strong compliance and risk controls. Travel is required and Mandarin language skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in any discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Private Banking with UHNW clients.
• Strong knowledge of Wealth Management in China market with cross-asset expertise.
• Experience coordinating with internal partners across countries to drive sales.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Support Senior Banker with focus on China market in client management and operations.
• Assist in sales process with pitch books, information coordination, and client needs.
• Help manage client hierarchy, pipeline, and revenue tracking.
• Assist in selling investments, banking, and trust services and wealth planning opportunities.
• Collaborate with teams to identify new business opportunities and deliver solutions.
• Update clients on markets, portfolio performance, and investment opportunities.
• Prepare presentations and proposals for clients as requested.
• Maintain client records and AUM/revenue tracking in internal systems.
• Ensure compliance, due diligence, and regulatory requirements.
